Engineering
Join the dean of the Division of Engineering virtually as she shares how studying engineering in a liberal arts setting allows you to make connections across disciplines so you are prepared to launch into the workforce or pursue graduate studies. You'll learn about the course of study for engineers plus how students maximize study abroad and research opportunities in our four-year programs. We'll dive into how our first-year experience will help students envision pathways and possibilities for their futures.
Dyer Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Learn how students take amazing ideas, mold and shape them with the help of mentors, industry leaders, and alumni and turn them into impactful changes in the world. The Dyer Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is open to all students to help them sharpen their business acumen while learning the pathways to bring ideas to fruition. You'll learn about the maker space, real estate competitions, summer idea accelerator, and more.
Sustainability
At Lafayette, sustainability is more than a mission, it's a lifestyle. Join the Office of Sustainability to learn how students gain hands-on experiences managing legacy programs and directing new initiatives to make Lafayette a more carbon neutral home. You'll learn about our composting program, our campus's organic farm, the summer leadership program, and employment opportunities for students through a variety of initiatives. You'll also hear how sustainability theory is weaved into the curriculum.
Financial Aid
As one of 70 institutions in the United States dedicated to funding full demonstrated need of admitted students, Lafayette is committed to helping students have an educational and affordable college experience. Join the Office of Financial Aid director to learn more about what we expect from a student applying for financial aid and how we award financial aid. You'll hear about our $200,000 no-loan initiative, plus how outside scholarships apply to a student's financial aid landscape. Feel free to bring general financial aid questions, and schedule an appointment for specific questions unique to your situation.
International Students
International students find support at Lafayette through a variety of different offices, clubs, and programs from the moment you apply through to graduation and beyond. Join us as we talk about financial aid, gathering resources locally to be successful, and finding the activities and people that resonate with you. We'll also talk about how you can enhance your application.
Application Workshops
Your application to college should highlight your talents and experiences to showcase you on your best day! We'll show you how. Join us for one of our specialized workshops that focus on enhancing your essay and making your application more dynamic.
The "Unique Opportunities for Artists, Entrepreneurs, and Community Builders" session shares opportunities you can only find at Lafayette! You'll learn about the Dyer Fellows Program for entrepreneurship, the Creative and Performing Arts Scholarship, Army ROTC, and more
Information Session & Talk and Tour
These two events provide a general overview of Lafayette College. During the Virtual Information Session, you'll join an admissions counselor as they share stories and stats about the Lafayette experience. You'll hear about opportunities for study abroad, research, extracurricular activities, and the hands-on classroom learning experience. Bring your questions!
During the Virtual Talk and Tour, you'll follow a student as they give context to all your seeing in our Virtual Tour. They'll share their experiences as a Lafayette Leopard and show you how they put the power of and in practice through the academics, clubs, internships, athletics, fraternity and sorority life, career opportunities and more.
Most sessions run consecutively on the same day. Join us for one or both sessions!
