This 1.5-hour experience includes a 15-minute introduction from an admissions counselor followed by a 75-minute tour of campus. You'll be able to see the academic and social spaces where students learn and grow, while hearing how our students make the most of the "power of and" by engaging in a variety of different pursuits. The tour includes a visit to a typical first-year residence hall, one of the 38 different locations on campus where students can live. The gym is not included on the tour, but you are welcome to self-guide through it at any time. Admissions counselors are available after your tour to answer any remaining questions.
See the spaces where our students bend, twist, measure, pressurize, weld, and synthesize their learning. A current student will take you through the classrooms, hands-on labs, and makerspaces of our 100,000-square-foot Acopian Engineering Center. You'll also see our fleet of 3D printers, robotics labs, and the Maroon Monster, a hydraulic crusher used to test concrete. Along the way, you'll hear how our students take advantage of 24-hour access to the building but find the time to perform on stages and athletic fields, lead clubs, and engage in community projects. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
Monday through Friday at 9:15 am, 10:00 or 11:45 am, 1:45 pm and 4:00 pm.
Make an interview part of your day at Lafayette or stop in to interview with us if you have visited previously. Registration for an on-campus interview is required at least 2 days in advance of your visit. Click the calendar and then the link to see interviews available for that date.
Want to know what it's like to be a Lafayette student? Become one for the day! Leopard for a Day allows high school seniors and transfer students to attend class and join a current Leopard for lunch. Students must sign up at least 2 weeks in advance so we have time to reach out to professors and build an appropriate schedule. We don't want you sitting in on a test! Click a blue date on the calendar below, then click the listing to register. You will be able to register for additional events, such as a campus tour or on-campus interview, to make the most of your time with us. Read more about the expectations for the day.

See the spaces where the arts at Lafayette come alive! You'll visit the Williams Arts Campus, which includes the studios where majors in art (studio art and art history), film and media studies, and theater hone their craft. Passing through the gallery you see where innovative artists, including faculty and students, showcase their work. You'll also visit the Williams Center for the Arts (similar name, different building!) to see where music is made and where our Performance Series welcomes world-renowned performing artists. If there is time, you can pop into the Experimental Printmaking Institute. Plus, you'll learn more about the Creative and Performing Arts (CaPA) Scholars Program that gives students the opportunity to utilize up to $7,500 to pursue any artistic endeavor at a higher level over their four years at Lafayette. During our Fall and Spring breaks our students take much deserved time off to relax, travel, and be with family. During these dates, we offer a half-hour information session with an admissions counselor. Following the session, families are able to self-guide to see our beautiful campus using a brochure or our virtual self-guided tour.
Our students are on break October 10-13, 2026, and March 13-21, 2027. The campus is closed during winter break, December 23 through January 3.
