Exploring Engineering

October Open House: This full-day event provides an in-depth overview of Lafayette. We kick off the day with a panel that showcases how faculty mentor in class and beyond. See how a Lafayette education is centered in classwork, study abroad, research, and internships, while also provides learning and belonging through clubs, social events, and community engagement. After the panel, you'll get to choose how you want to spend your day. Learn more about the student experience by taking a campus tour or join a specialty tour of the arts, engineering, or recreation services. Join panels that allow you to interact with faculty, staff, and students, and learn more about career services. Explore some of the lab and arts spaces where students make new discoveries. Complimentary lunch in the dining hall is included.

November Morning and Afternoon Open Houses: The morning and afternoon open houses mirror each other, providing insight into academics, careers services, and the expectations of a Lafayette student. Learn more about the student experience and the physical campus through a campus tour. Or join a specialty tour to explore engineering or the arts.

November Senior Open House and Interview Event: This open house is made especially for seniors in high school and transfer students. Students have the opportunity to sit in on current Lafayette classes to get a flavor of the academic experience. Plus, students and their families will have a chance to join several panels. Immediately following the open house seniors and transfer students have the opportunity to interview with us if you haven't already. Pre-registration is required.
