Opportunities to Engage


We offer a variety of opportunities for students and families to engage in the Lafayette experience through web-based means while on-campus events are unavailable. Choose the date on the calendar when you would like to engage with us to see what events are available. Please note that all events are based on Eastern Time (US and Canada). 
 
NEW! Engineering Information Session: Tuesday & Thursday at 3 pm EDT, July 7 through August 13. 
Study abroad. Work on real-world projects. Expand your horizons within engineering and beyond. Find out how what engineering in a liberal arts setting looks like when Engineering Division Director Scott Hummel will present for 30 minutes and then give students and families time to ask questions about Lafayette Engineering.

NEW! Arts Information Session: Friday, July 10 at 1 pm EDT.
Whether you're thinking about a major or want to explore your artistic side as a hobby, find out all Lafayette offers through music, art, film and media studies, theater, performance, creative writing, photography, fine art, and dance. You'll also learn about the CaPA scholars program, which funds ongoing creative pursuits. Director of Arts Jennifer Kelly will present for 30 minutes and then answer questions from students.


Look@Lafayette Virtual Open House: Wednesday, July 22, & Wednesday August 26 at 1 pm EDT.
Take a more in-depth look at the resources available to Lafayette students and end your Zoom time with a live tour from campus.


Interview: Monday-Thursday at 9:15 am, 11:15 am, 1:15 pm & 3:15 pm EDT.
Rising seniors in high school and transfer students may sign up for a video conference interview. 

Information Session: Monday & Wednesday at 4 pm & Friday at 12 pm EDT. 
An online opportunity to gain an overview of the Lafayette experience with an admissions director. The 30-minute presentation is followed by a chance for students and families to ask questions.

ROTC Information Session: Thursday, July 9 & August 6 at 11 am EDT.
Meet the Steel Battalion officer through this virtual information session and find out how ROTC can pay for your college experience while adding a military science component to your education. The 30-minute presentation is followed by a chance for students and families to ask questions.


Lafayette College and the Office of Admissions will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the July 4th holiday.
