Fall break is October 11-14. No classes are held. Administrative offices are open October 13 - 14 and limited visits are available.  

OPEN HOUSES

General Open House
Saturday, October 18, 8:45 am - 3:15 pm
Learn how Lafayette gives you the space to explore a variety of different academic interests before committing to a major. You'll learn how our professors are teachers, mentors, and scholars who inspire students to pursue research, study abroad, within the context of understanding of the academic pursuit. Plus you'll get to see labs and studios and where our engineers, artists, and natural scientists do their best work.

Join us on a beautiful fall day to find out more about Lafayette! Join us in the morning or the afternoon to gain an understanding of how Lafayette prepares students to thrive in the world.


November Senior Open House

If you are a senior in high school or a transfer student join us! Students will have an opportunity to join a current class and family members can learn more about the college via panels and tours.

 
ON-CAMPUS VISITS

On-Campus Tour

This 90-minute experience provides an introduction to the College with an admissions counselor followed by an in-person tour led by a current Lafayette student. You'll have time for questions during the tour and with an admissions counselor following the tour.

Seniors in high school and transfer students can interview with us in person when they visit campus! Add more to your future application by sharing your story in-person with us. Interviews are informative and evaluative.

Leopard for a Day
Monday - Friday
Use the calendar to select the day you are interested in visiting. Then click On-Campus Visit to register.
Seniors in high school and transfer students can join us on campus and learn what it's like to be a Lafayette student. You'll be scheduled to attend class and enjoy lunch in a dining hall with a current student. You can also add an interview and tour to your day if you'd like, and spend the whole day with us!

Engineering Center Tour

Join us on-campus on select Saturdays. You can start you day with a general campus tour and then immediately after, tour the Acopian Engineering Center. You'll see the lab spaces where students learn to use the equipment they'll be using in careers after graduation. 

Sustainability Tour

By request
See the campus from a sustainable perspective and learn about the initiatives our students, faculty, and staff are taking part in to make the campus carbon neutral by 2035. Request a tour for a day you will be on campus, and we'll schedule a time with a tour guide. Must be requested at least one week in advance. 

Arts Tour 
By Request
Arts permeates all parts of our campus. This tour will focus on showing the spaces of the Williams Arts Campus and the Williams Arts Center as we highlight our theaters, film and media production areas, visual arts studios, and music spaces. Request a tour for a day you will be on campus, and we'll schedule a time with a tour guide.

Regional Off-Campus Interviews
We're visiting all over the world and we want to meet YOU! Our admissions counselors offer interviews in many cities as they are traveling. Check the list of where we'll be next. Interviews are not required but are recommended and are only available to seniors in high school and transfer students. Sign up today!

ONLINE EVENTS

Virtual Engineering Information Session
November 5 at 7 pm
The dean of engineering hosts an evening of engineering information. You'll learn about the curriculum, places our students go after graduation, and all the hands-on learning that happens in between. Find out how engineering centered in a liberal arts education will help you to launch from Lafayette with bright prospects for jobs and graduate school.

Virtual Information Session

Join an admissions counselor as they share stories and stats about the Lafayette experience. You'll hear about opportunities for study abroad, research, extracurricular activities, and the hands-on classroom learning experience. Bring your questions!

Virtual International Information Session

Gain a greater understanding of how Lafayette welcomes international students as part of its student population. You'll learn the nuances of applying as an international student and hear about the variety of offices, clubs, and organizations that support our international students during their Lafayette journey.

Virtual Financial Aid Session: Affording Lafayette

Lafayette meets 100% of demonstrated need and also has a $200,000 no-loan initiative to help make a private liberal arts education affordable for as many students as possible. Join our financial aid team to learn more about applying for financial aid.

Virtual Talk and Tour

Our students know the best places to study, which of the 8 dining venues to visit at what time, and more. Join them on a virtual tour of the campus as they share their experiences and show you how they put the power of and in practice through the academics, clubs, and career opportunities.

Virtual Interviews

Get a jump on your application and interview with us now! You can conduct a virtual interview with us weekdays to share the story of YOU! This informational and evaluative interview allows us to hear your voice and can add another dimension to your application when you apply (beginning Aug 1!). Rising seniors in high school and transfer students are allow one interview per admissions cycle. Register now!
