Opportunities to Engage

Choose the date on the calendar when you would like to engage with us to see what events are available. Please note that all events are based on Eastern Daylight Time (US and Canada).

We are open for on-campus visitation! Lafayette offers on-campus visits to prospective students and their families. Visitors are asked to wear a mask when engaged with a member of the campus community and when indoors. We look forward to meeting you!

Engineering Center Tours: Engineering students who are currently conducting summer research on campus take time out of their busy day to meet you! Our students will take you on a 45-minute tour of the engineering facilities, including labs, classrooms, and study spaces. This is great opportunity to see the labs up close and ask questions of those generating new projects and ideas. Offer Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays July 19 through August 27.

Engineering Information Sessions: Join the Director of the Engineering Division as he shares with you the beauty of pursing engineering in a liberal arts setting. He will detail the hands-on research opportunities, the classes that inform and intrigue, and how students capitalize on their Lafayette education to launch their careers and grad school plans.

Ambassador-Led On-Campus Tours:
This 90-minute experience begins with a 15-minute introduction from an admissions director, followed by a 75-minute in-person tour led by a current Lafayette student through the outdoor spaces and into the buildings of our campus, including a residence hall. You will wrap up with a director and have time for questions. Up to 5 families engage with each tour guide. Consult the On-Campus Visitation FAQs for more information.

Campus Exploration: Offered only on Saturdays, this in-person event is like getting five tours in one! Rather than following a single tour guide across campus, you self-guide and have the opportunity to engage with students at five locations on campus to gain novel perspectives on Life at Lafayette. You may visit the inside of buildings during the event. Register for 11, 11:15,11:30 or 11:45 am and use that 1-hour time slot to explore at your leisure.

Self-Guided On-Campus Tours:
Students may register for a self-guided tour when they reach campus using the QR code posted at the kiosk in front of Markle Hall. Self-guided tour brochures are located beneath the kiosk. Families may enter buildings on campus. For more information, consult our On-Campus Visitation FAQs.

Audio Tour
If time is of the essence, you can drive through campus and listen to a podcast-style tour of the sights of campus. With no need to register, you can start your audio tour now!

All events below are through a web-based means. You will receive confirmation emails with the links to join the events. Please note that all events are based on Eastern Daylight Time (US and Canada).
