Leopard for a Day
Want to know what it's like to be a Lafayette student? Become one for the day!
Leopard for a Day allows high school seniors and transfer students to attend class and join a current Leopard for lunch. Students must sign up at least 2 weeks in advance so we have time to reach out to professors and build an appropriate schedule. We don't want you sitting in on a test!
Click a blue date on the calendar below, then click the listing to register. You will be able to register for additional events, such as a campus tour or on-campus interview, to make the most of your time with us.
Setting Your Expectations
We don't anticipate that high students will understand the class–this is, after all, what you're aspiring to–but it will give you a taste for the classroom interactions that happen between students and professors. The registration form captures your academic interest so we can find the right class for you. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with a current Lafayette student over lunch.
Tours and interviews are available most days and we may rearrange your day to make the best possible use of your time on campus. Your confirmation email will note that Leopard for a Day starts at 10 am, however, it may start at the different time (no earlier than 9 am) depending on the schedule of the classes. You will receive a schedule at least 3 days before you arrive on campus.
